Position Summary:

We are hiring temporary positions, Counter Balance Forklift Operators, for our client Karmax Heavy Stamping in Milton, ON.

Day Shift: 6:30am-2:30pm $20.92/hr 
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm $21.82/hr 
Night Shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am $22.07/hr

Candidate must be able to rotate on a Day/Afternoon Schedule or work Straight Night Shift.

1.5x OT after 40 hours / week

Opportunity for permanent full-time position with Karmax Heavy Stamping within 3 months

• $24.00/hour + shift premiums for afternoons and nights 
• 1.5x OT after 40 hours
• Full medical and dental benefits after 30 days of full-time employment
• Uniforms with laundry service provided after 3 months of full-time employment
• In house forklift and tugger licensing once full time

Requirements:

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Completed high school diploma (or equivalency)
- Clear criminal background
- Must have a valid forklift license


Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 3 years of previous forklift driving experience in a busy manufacturing in required
- Experience with four-peg metal racks is required
- Willingness to work off the forklift when required.  May involve repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 30lbs)
- Comfortable completing any required paper or computer work
